Little known secrets to finding coupons and discounts using search engines. Who doesn’t like to save money? In today’s times when you are looking for coupons or bargains, where is the first place you visit? Yup, the search engines. How often do you get less than what you are looking for when you are searching. Well…by the time you read this article this will be a challenge of the past.

Most of the time people are searching for bargains or looking to find coupons online… they simply type in the term or terms and click the search button. By doing so you are faced with a whole lot of junk sites and most are not so relevant. And dont try is when you are looking for something specific… oooh boy. fughetaboutit!

Most searches are not targeted. If you type in (craft store coupons) in Google, who knows what you will get. When you type in a normal phrase in a search engine, the search engine looks for any of the words, anywhere on the page. Just look at the highlighted (bolded) words. With this approach, be prepared for anything. Random searches are scattered and have varying and usually dissapointing results.

When using search engines to find coupons and bargains online…a focused search almost always yields better results. Relevant results you can use. Try typing in your favorite search engine (preferably google) craft store coupon in quotes. Like This:”craft store coupon”. Now try without quotes…see the difference in the number of results?

If you notice, the results with the quotes are much more relevant and targeted and provide higher quality results than results without quotes. Using quotes in your search forces the search engines to look for the EXACT phrase within the quotes. When looking to find specific coupons online and bargains…I don’t know about you but I don’t want to waste my time going through pages of random junk results. I want to instantly find the coupons and bargains I’m looking for.

Sidenote: this is not a completely fool proof method! The coupons and/or bargains you are looking for must exist or there must be pages online or conversations centered around them online. However…This is the easiest way to be sure to find what you are looking for EASIER and FASTER.

To get even better LASER FOCUSED results, simply add search operators. What the heck is a search operator you ask? It’s simple…an Operator is simply a plus or minus sign you put right before your keywords or phrases.

Laser Targeted Operators:

• The minus (-) is a negative operateor and will NOT display the words you place directly after it. This Phrase: (“craft store coupons” -code) will only display craft pages with store coupons and not craft store coupon codes or promotional codes.
• The Plus (+) operator will include additional phrases in the results. This phrase: (“craft store coupons” -code + New York) will show pages with craft store coupons that are NOT coupon or promotional codes and ARE in New York.
